Chandigarh, December 30 – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Punjab, has appointed three district presidents of the Scheduled Caste (SC) Wing, with immediate effect, to strengthen its organizational base in the state.
In a press note issued from party headquarters in Chandigarh on Monday, SC wing secretary (General) and state core committee member, Baljinder Singh Chaunda, said that, after consultation with State President of the SC Wing, Manjit Singh Bilaspur, and vice-president, Kulwant Singh Pandori (Both MLAs), Ashok Kumar Sirswal was appointed president of the SC wing Patiala district (Rural), Subedar Kulwant Singh from Gurdaspur district and Santosh Kumar Gogi Phagwara was elected president of Kapurthala district.
