Chandigarh – In a bid to aware the people about terrorism and violence, Director General of Police, Dinkar Gupta today administered oath to the Punjab Police officials here at Punjab Police Headquarters to observe the ‘anti-terrorism day’.
All police personnel and staff took pledge to make their contribution to end all forms of terrorism and violence in their country and strongly affirm to fight against those who disrupt the lives and values of human beings.
While addressing the gathering, DGP informed that May 21st is being observed as ‘anti-terrorism day’ at national level and this occasion provides us an opportunity to uphold and promote peace and social harmony among the society.
