Man hacked to death in Delhi, family gets to know through viral video

SAMBHAL: Eight months ago, Ajab Singh had moved to Delhi to earn his livelihood. Months later, his family received the news of his death through a video that went viral. Singh hailed from Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh.
A video that went viral on social media showed Singh being hacked to death by five men. The family had no information about his death till they saw the video in which he could be seen being brutally killed. An FIR has been registered by the police. A police team has also been sent to Delhi for further investigation.
A few days back, another viral video had been sent on social media to a family a 12-year-old girl in Delhi. The video reportedly showed the mentally challenged girl being raped allegedly by their neighbour. Delhi Police had nabbed three accused in connection with the case. The girl was taken to a secluded spot where she was raped. Two of the young men involved in the heinous act, recorded took a video of the same.
The main accused has been booked for rape and under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), while his friends have been booked under the relevant sections of IPC and the IT Act for their involvement in the crime. The girl’s family had also alleged that they are being pressured from the family of the accused to withdraw the case.
